what is a friend and how do you tell?
a friend is someone you can trust
you can never
care for a friend too much
friends are people you remember for life,
people who help you through your strife.
with
a friend you drop all prejudice
a person or animal who forgets all malice
with a friend you never feel alone
and
you can for them everything condone.
Running away
It's knowing that you care for me
that makes me feel secure
i don't know
where i'd be without you
with you i'm reassured.
you always acted like a friend
even when i tried to hide
that's
what makes me love you so,
the fact you understand.
the need i have to hold you away
sometimes keep you at arms
length.
i guess sometimes i scare you
the fact i try to run away.
Special Friend
looking deep into your eyes
i sense the love within you,

give me as a friend,
the one i mistook so badly for lust
i realise i cannot love you,
not as a object of my sexual

yu mean more than that to me,
you saved me from myself,
so many times.
you'll always be special,

more than i could ask for,
